Park

There is a great park not too far from our house. There are swings,



slides, paved winding paths (aka. perfect for wearing out a toddler),

a sandbox, and a library within walking distance. I have a feeling we will be frequent visitors in the coming months.

For longer days with more sunshine

Sand

He's always been 100% boy. The first sand box experience confirmed that my little guy will be one dirty boy this summer. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

(I mean look at that smile! "Dirt! Sand! Odd little pine cones! Random green pail!")

Side-eyes and stillness

Teddy has gotten some great hand-me-down toys from both sides of the family. I remember playing with this bubble maker when my nephew, Tyler, was about Teddy's age. Tyler loved this thing.

Teddy? Gave it the side eye and wasn't quite sure what to make of it.

Ah well. The continued staring allowed me to get this (perfectly focused) shot of my little boys face. Doesn't he look so still in this picture?! So rare these day.
